Jones Stephens is currently seeking a Product Technician to join our team! Responsibilities * Perform welding procedures by interpreting written blueprints. * Repair, adjust, and maintain production equipment, machinery, or instruments to ensure that it functions reliably and aligns with process specifications * Ensure the manufacture of products in planned quantities, at budgeted cost, and of desired quality * Some duties may include packing, wrapping, securing, or labeling containers * Recognize and report any problems or deficiencies in the production process to management * Assist with installation and qualification of production equipment * Support safety programs, policies and practices that foster a safe work environment * May assist with planning shipping from the manufacturing location * Work on production assembly throughout the manufacturing process * Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management Qualifications * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required * Effectively use standard hand and electric tools (hammer, pliers, screwdriver, electric saw etc.) * Knowledge of OSHA safety procedures preferred * Comfortable standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and/or squatting * Ability to carry objects up to 50 lbs by hand and perform repetitive movement like pushing and pulling * Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices. * Attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism Jones Stephens is dedicated to providing meaningful benefits programs and products to our associates and their families-geared toward benefits, wellness, financial protection, and retirement savings.
