Follow this link to apply: myapps.kwiktrip.com Location: Department 671 Shift: Daytime Experience: 5+ year Minimum Starting Pay: $106,981.68 Kwik Trip, Inc.'s Information Technology Department is seeking a full-time Software Quality Assurance Manager responsible for the management of the QA team. Ensuring the delivery of high-quality application code releases in a planned timeline to meet the growth of Kwik Trip in its primary objective, serving our customers, coworkers, and suppliers. You will be primarily responsible for: * Providing leadership and direction to the Scrum Master - QA teams * Maintaining Agile methodology values, principles, and practices for application development Scrum teams at Kwik Trip * Ensuring the QA process for new application functionality that is being delivered from the ADS Scrum teams is stable and meets the business requirements for the application code that is being delivered. * Developing and maintaining QA testing standards for manual and automated testing for the QA team * Provide monthly performance metrics for the Application Delivery Services Agile Scrum teams. * Working with the PM\BA teams to ensure business requirements in Jira stories are being delivered to the Scrum Teams * Providing System Administration for JIRA software at Kwik Trip Qualifications: * Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college. * At least five years' application programming experience, analyzing computer programs and application systems and working with computer system users. Candidates should possess knowledge of the following: * Agile Software Development Methodologies. * Software Testing Methodologies with an emphasis on the Agile model. * Automated QA testing. * Project Management concepts and terminology. * Application architecture and design principles. * Mobile development and Web concepts and terminology. * Microsoft software suite of products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, SharePoint, Project, etc.). Successful candidates should demonstrate: * Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Skill in interviewing business coworkers for insight on application functionality and usability as it relates to QA testing practices. * Skill in task and time management. * Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple activities/tasks in a rapid changing environment to meet project deadlines. * Ability to maintain confidential information. * Ability to work both independently and in a team, environment consisting of both IT and non-IT coworker/vendors. * Ability to analyze complex QA testing scenarios and anticipate future needs and provide concise, thorough solutions. * Ability resolves high priority support issues. * Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies.
