Bridgestone Americas and its subsidiaries develop, manufacture and market a wide range of Bridgestone, Firestone and associate brand products to address the needs of a broad range of customers and industries. Position Summary The Firestone Senior Brand Manager will lead the Firestone Brand team within the Center of Excellence (COE) Brand. They will need to build Firestone Brand Power, with focus on driving saliency (top of mind awareness), meaning (spontaneous linkage of our brand to key associations) and distinction from competitors among primary targets. They will be the primary steward for the Firestone brand and go-to for all corporate and business marketing functions. This function will be done at West level, taking care of the specific requirements of Bridgestone Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) & Bridgestone Americas (BSAM). This position will report to the VP of Brand Marketing and includes cross functional interactions with West Marketing COE teams including the Marketing Strategy and Operations (MSO) team to ensure alignment with the Firestone powerhouse, the Activation team to ensure the brand guidelines are well briefed and implemented, with the Digital Marketing and Experience group (DMX) team to brief the Media plan, with the Strategic Communication team to brief the internal and external communications plans. This function will also build relationships with business marketers, retail operations and sales teams, senior leadership, key customers, agencies, and internal / external partners. This teammate, based in Nashville, will have 1 direct report. Responsibilities Responsibilities * Lead Firestone Global Brand Committee and regional stakeholders (inc. retail) through process to establish and deliver new globally-aligned brand communications platform and playbooks grounded in new brand strategy; partner with all functions / businesses / regions on consistent deployment. * Leads management of Firestone Global Brand activity, supporting the Brand Manager in ongoing interaction with global regional brand managers, ensuring strategic and consistent use of the Firestone brand and marks in all regions of Bridgestone Global. * Oversee all Firestone Reason to Care and Hybrid Brand content (in collaboration with content creation team) in support of all West BUs in consistent deployment across all West functions and be consultant for the RTB material production. * Identify and deliver brand KPIs that measures and supports the business priorities. * Serves as primary liaison and collaborates with all enterprise functions (Marketing COE, Marketing Operations, Retail, BMS,…) to ensure strategic and consistent use of Firestone brand across the enterprise. * Work directly with business and functional agencies responsible for delivering key platform and content initiatives within expected timeframes. * Partner with MSO to manage and strategically expand Firestone licensing portfolio to grow contributions to Bridgestone Brands Co, LLC. * Partner with Activation team to support expansion and optimized activation of BSAM Sustainable Premium Motorsports portfolio, leveraging INDYCAR and INDY NXT in order to maximize brand benefit * Supports Firestone Brand Manager in career development, ensuring intentional and ongoing discussion around individual teammate career reflection as well as development goals and learning opportunities. Qualifications * 10+ years experience in Brand Management, marketing communications * Business Marketing and cross-geographies experiences are an asset * Strong interpersonal, communications, and collaboration skills. Must also have demonstrated cross-functional leadership. * Successful People manager experience demonstrated * Experience leading agency partners and/or external vendors * Strategic, creative thinker, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills * Comfort in dealing with ambiguity and a variety of initiatives and processes * Consistent track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment and interpersonal skills to lead multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively. * Ability to work with autonomy and able to work in Matrix organization with a remote management * Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree; 6 y+ years of relevant experience including 3-5 years management or direct/indirect leadership experience Or Master's degree; 4+ years of relevant experience including 2-4 years management or direct/indirect leadership experience
