Specifically the associate content producer is responsible for helping to create new content for the equivalent of campus cable channel 20, the organization's website and the visual displays located throughout the purview of ISU Student Media.; The associate content producer should expect to work up to 10 hours per week during the fall and spring academic terms. The schedule will be determined by work needs and in consultation with the faculty advisor.; Any organization member in good academic standing (maintaining a 2.0 GPA, not under academic probation) in good conduct standing (not under conduct probation or higher discipline) and has a minimum of two semesters experience (with exceptions) in the organization is eligible to hold office. Officers will be selected by the faculty advisor based on past performance. Specific Responsibilities Work Schedule Various based on student academic schedule. Failure to abide by this term of employment shall constitute unethical conduct as defined by the NCAA and may result in immediate suspension and/or termination of the employment relationship with ISU. Job Duties Essential Duties and Responsibilities The associate content producer is responsible for helping to develop production content of the organization. Duties include: § Develop and create programming and video production in consultation with the content producer. § Make sure all productions are completed, posted on social media, placed on campus cable, organizational displays and on the organization's website in a timely manner. § Help recruiting and training of student members. § Attend all meetings, studio productions and organizational events. § Work with the content producer and whenever possible with representatives from the Statesman and WISU to produce multimedia content for Student Media and related medium-specific content for Sycamore Video. § Everything else necessary to assist the content producer in developing and consistently delivering high-quality video production for ISU Student Media. § All officers are required to produce/co-produce a news story each week Additional responsibilities may be added as the specified position evolves.
