Hello from Vello! Are you a curious, and driven User Experience Researcher looking for your next challenge? Well, we've got a brand new role that we are excited to share with you. IDEXX has just launched a brand new software product, Vello, and we're looking for a dedicated User Experience Researcher to join the Vello team. Historically, our User Research Team has worked as a resource for the entire IDEXX business. This will be the first time we've looked at having a dedicated resource for a singular product. Though this role will be focused on Vello, there may be oppertunities to jump onto other products as well! What is Vello you ask? Vello is a pet owner engagement software solution that seamlessly connects veterinary practices and clients. It unlocks efficiencies for veterinary clinics with tools that improve pet owner compliance and reduce no-shows, foster productive conversations, and reduce time spent on the phone. We're pretty excited to see Vello in the market and the positive impact it'll have for our customers. Initial Vello users show an average 19% reduction in no show rate, enabling more clinical visits. We want to see this number grow and what other impacts Vello can have on the Veterinary Industry! Pets and tech, it's a winning combo! A bit more about the role, you will: * Assess needs of individual usability projects and select appropriate research, modeling and evaluation methods to utilize. * Work with product managers, interface designers, and development staff to plan and design research activities. * Plan, design, execute and analyze results and report findings from research. * Coordinate with user interface designers and product team to develop innovative and effective approaches to user experience challenges. * Manage an archive of user research and test results, identifying patterns in the results across the data. * Research business and industry to build understanding of user requirements and develops and implements user experience policy and standards throughout Company product line. * Advocate for user-centered design process and contributes to overall user experience of Company products through knowledge of usability methods. Advances Company understanding and incorporation of usability concepts and methods. What are we looking for? * Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail. * Ability to effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work well in a multi-team cross-functional environment and influence without authority. * Experience in user research - both qualitative and quantitative * Experience in the veterinary industry a bonus!
