Volt is immediately hiring for an Electronic Lab Technician Intern in Mossville, IL. As an Electronic Lab Technician Intern, you will gain valuable training and hands-on experience with setting up and testing circuit boards. This includes: * Identifying and connecting the components of electronic circuitry necessary for testing (ECM, CANcase, relay, debugger, etc). * Modifying/troubleshooting test bench harness. * Testing processes, including power cycling the equipment. * Installing and validating embedded software. * Photographing parts in preparation for shipment. This is a part-time internship with a flexible schedule: 12-20 hours/week during the school year, with up to 40 hours/week available during breaks. This role has the potential to continue past graduation and become a full-time opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: * Current college enrollment, preferably in a STEM program. * Interest in learning about electronics, electrical engineering, embedded software engineering, etc. * Ability to work both independently and in a team, while contributing to a diverse and inclusive workplace environment. * Strong critical thinking and organizational skills. * Some experience with any programming language and/or Jenkins automation server preferred. Pay Rate: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour * Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
