Why Lytx: Our Vice President, Sales Development will play a pivotal role in building and implementing strategy to drive revenue and growth across our sales development team! You will be accountable for leading, mentoring, and developing the sales team responsible for driving execution excellence, outstanding customer experience, and top of funnel metrics required to achieve revenue targets. You'll Get To: * Define and implement an operating business plan to help achieve the revenue objectives of the aligned sales organization * Deliver operational excellence across the sales development organization with defined objectives, metrics, analysis and planning, and a regular reporting and accountability rhythm * Recruit, hire, develop and own an effective, proficient, and motivated team to accomplish and even exceed the assigned objectives * Lead teams that will accelerate mid-market and enterprise level opportunities, develop viable pipeline and increase our client base * Act as a mentor and leader to sales development by building and advancing standard process sharing and networking strategies and capabilities * Lead cross-functional collaboration by partnering with sales leaders and business partners to cultivate a cohesive approach to market expansion and business development * Implement ground-breaking change to improve efficiency, productivity, and performance * Optimize reporting and dashboards to ensure metrics are optimized, easily understood, and accessible to essential team members * Understand competitive landscape by proactively identifying customer needs and performing ongoing market analysis to stay ahead of the competitive landscape * Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals of the sales organization What You'll Need: * 20+ years of demonstrated successful sales experience in a SaaS environment, leading sophisticated sales, preferably with Small/Mid-Market accounts. 12+ years leadership in sales and/or demand generation * Proven experience running an Inside Sales team in a complex sales environment working closely with Account Executives to move deals through the sales cycle, highly preferred * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience * Successful history mentoring team members to meet/exceed quarterly quotas through data and metrics as well as grow and develop professionally * Proven ability to exceed targets through cross-collaboration, strategic planning, and execution across multiple functions and levels of an organization * Excellent communication and presentation skills to C-Level; including the ability to influence key decision makers * Prior experience with ZoomInfo, Outreach, Gong, and Salesforce or other CRM tools preferred * Ability to travel up to 30% as required ____________ Lytx is powered by cutting-edge technology and Happy People. This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan.
