Job Title: Provider Data Coordinator (Remote Option within SHP Service Area) Cost Center: 682891544 SHP-Provider Network Mgmt Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Employee Type: Regular Work Shift: Mon-Fri; day shifts (United States of America) Job Description: JOB SUMMARY The Provider Data Coordinator works in cooperation with the Contracting Manager - Marshfield Clinic Health System Provider Network and other department and organization colleagues to deliver superior service to Security Health Plan's comprehensive network of affiliated health care providers. This individual is responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data for Security Health Plan (SHP) affiliated providers in all applications, including the SHP Provider Directory. The Provider Data Coordinator works collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders in an effort to meet or exceed all regulatory and industry provider data quality and accuracy standards. JOB QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation. Minimum Required: Associate degree or 60+ credits in health care, business, marketing, education, or related field. Preferred/Optional: None EXPERIENCE Minimum Required: Two years' experience in a medical group practice or health insurance/Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) environment. Experience with data entry, customer service, claims processing, billing, provider relations, credentialing or contracting. Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail. Preferred/Optional: Understanding of provider credentialing.
