The City of Burlington is currently hiring for a Part-Time Site Supervisor for Athletic Facilities. About us: Burlington Recreation and Parks provide a diverse range of programs that enhances the well-being of our residents. Besides just being fun, Burlington's parks, programs and services provide opportunities to improve physical and mental health, develop our youth, focus on the environment and make a positive impact on our city. What you will do: Responsible for the operation of an athletic facility when there are athletic activities are going on and assist with other programs and events. Work schedule: Weekends and/or weekdays (approximately5pm-9pm). Hours will vary depending on the season. Examples of Duties * Supervise all games/practices * Set up and tear down of fields * Turn on and off lights * Report game scores, problem/complaints, accidents/incidents or damages to facility to the Athletic Supervisor * Responsible formake sure the facility is clean, and the bathrooms are stocked and well kept Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Ability to take orders from the Youth and Adult Athletic Supervisors * Good communication skills * Ability to deal with public in respectful manner * General knowledge of rules of the league, and facility. Supplemental Information Physical Requirements and Working Conditions * Be able to carry 50 pounds or less. * Working conditions will be inside and outside (mostly outside). * May be exposed to hot, and cold weather conditions.
