This individual will partner closely with product management, engineering managers, and other technical program managers to execute and align on programs. We are looking for individuals with the following qualifications: * Current student pursuing a degree in a technical or non-technical field with an expected graduation date around December 2024 or Spring/Summer 2025 * Broad experiences with multiple technical skills across different technologies, with experience writing code and contributing to open source projects * Basic intermediate proficiency with Python, Java, or Node (at least 2 preferred) * Demonstrate strong skills with data analysis (including SQL, database querying) and data visualization (including experience with Tableau) * Beginner knowledge of semantic search and generative AI * Outstanding people skills, partnerships, cross-functional relationships Nice to have: * You are interested in partnering with multiple cross-functional teams to define technical strategy and requirements * You enjoy orchestrating programs with many moving parts - people, needs, and technologies * You have a strong desire to learn how to identify gaps in solutions, debate technical approaches and weigh-in on product vs. technology tradeoffs * You aren't afraid to get your hands dirty, pulling data to provide insight, debug issues, and monitor system health * You have a data driven mindset in your decision making * You have a functional understanding and point of view within your technical domain(s) of expertise What will you learn and do? * You will learn about real-life decision-making challenges at Netflix, and help us develop innovative solutions. * You will learn broadly about how the Platform Engineering organization at Netflix strengthens and helps optimize all aspects of our global entertainment business. * You will collaborate with stunning colleagues in the Platform Engineering and Platform Product organizations and beyond. * You will have the opportunity to present your work at key internal forums within Netflix.
