About The Team: The Clinical Engineering Team at Noah Medical is dedicated to ensuring the products Noah is developing meet all of the clinical and user needs. We collaborate closely with our end users (physicians) to understand their needs and the clinical value Noah's products will bring them. The Clinical Engineering team also works closely with cross-functional development teams to represent clinical value propositions for patients and providers throughout the design and development of new products. A Day In The Life Of Our Clinical Engineer Intern: * Support lab operations with development of new anatomically accurate test models as well as assisting in expansion of current facility capabilities. * Develop new test methods, models, and metrics for quantifying product performance. * Participate in clinical assessment of various product prototypes, generate reports of results, and present to cross functional team members. * Assist in documenting existing procedure workflow and in developing new product workflows throughout development process * Coordinate with different teams and coworkers to accomplish tasks. * Analyze customer feedback to understand user needs incorporate it into tangible product improvements * Develop internal expertise in clinical domains relevant to the company's products * Build knowledge about relevant anatomy and disease states * Become aware of alternative and competing treatment modalities * Remain current with the latest in scientific publications relevant to the company's products About You: * Opportunity is for Fall 2024 * Currently only considering graduates that are able to start immediately * Prior internship or Co-op experience, recommended * Exposure to medical products and services * Ability to effectively communicate concepts, ideas, and knowledge to other individuals and teams. * Experience developing test methods/protocols is a plus * Experience conducting user research is a plus * Knowledge of basic anatomy, clinical terminology, and general surgical techniques is a plus * Motivated and driven individual who can take initiative on new projects * Internship will be conducted in-person as lab activities generally cannot be conducted remotely.
