This key role plays a vital part in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations. Salary: $90,000-$100,000 Direct-hire 1st Shift Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday Essential Functions: * Oversee all aspects of the safety culture, fostering a proactive approach to risk prevention. * Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, identifying and mitigating potential hazards. * Coordinate and deliver safety training programs to production personnel. * Monitor and maintain compliance with federal and state safety and environmental regulations. * Collaborate with government agencies, legal counsel, and inter-company personnel regarding safety and environmental matters. * Provide support and guidance to production personnel on safety and environmental best practices. * Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near misses. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety and environmental documentation.
