As the Deposit Quality Assurance Manager, your day will be filled with opportunities to Manage and Monitor the first line of defense of regulatory compliance requirements in the Deposit Operations Business Unit. This includes testing, documentation of procedures, SOX controls and collaboration with other Deposit Operations business units to ensure best practices are being followed. Responsibilities Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Manage the relationship with the Deposit disclosure vendor and test the accuracy of content in collaboration with other deposit business lines as well as Compliance and/or Audit. * Manage, review and validate the procedures related to processes that involve consumer transactions (i.e. Regulation E Disputes, Regulation CC Deposit Holds and others) * Submit written reports of reviews, including findings and recommended actions * Prepare monthly metrics reports to be presented in Deposit Operations Staff Meetings. * Manage, review and recommend improvements in procedures and controls for the Deposit regulatory compliance processes * Collaborate with Deposit Business Units on outstanding Compliance Control Improvement Reports and provide assistance in remediation of findings. * Follows up with respective internal partners to ensure recommended actions are implemented and effective * Create job aids, quick reference guides and flow charts to stream line processes for employees in the company on complex compliance topics. * Conduct special projects/audits when necessary as directed by the Director of Operations * Provide assistance to internal and external auditors and state/federal regulators during their examination of the bank Job Requirements The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: * High School/GED education, some college preferred * Bank, financial services, Retail Operations or Deposit Operations experience preferred. Knowledge of bank policies, procedures and Regulatory requirements preferred. * Ability to read, analyze and interpret policies and procedures and banking government regulations. * Ability to respond to inquiries from internal audit, regulatory agencies and outside consultants.
