MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS GS-07: 1 year of specialized experience that equipped me with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position. This experience is related to the work of the position and equivalent to at least the GS-06 level in the Federal service as described in the vacancy announcement. Examples include: Design and implement health programs in accordance with comprehensive local health plans; teach about cardiovascular disease, cancer, injury control, environmental health, communicable diseases, diabetes, and other health topics. Develop PowerPoint presentations using digital media for community education. Provide health education at health fairs and lunch and learns. Design and implement programs to reduce injuries from unintentional injuries or loss and injury from substance abuse related mishaps; conduct surveys to monitor program effectiveness. Time In Grade Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level.
