In your role as Senior Hardware Software QA Engineer at Kohler Ventures you will: * Establish testing patterns, best practices, and increase test coverage (in partnership with engineers). * Conduct technical reviews for new features and identify quality concerns. * Participate in various scrum meetings to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, estimates or potential problems. Skills/Requirements Required Qualifications: * You hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. * 5+ years of experience as a Software QA Engineer. * Experience with functional, regression, and end to end testing for hardware components. * Experience with test automation tools/frameworks for hardware/firmware validation. * Experience validating embedded firmware for IoT devices. * Ability to translate business requirements into test plan and develop test automations at all layers. * Availability to work outside of standard business hours to be able to collaborate with teams and vendors across multiple time zones. Preferred Qualifications: * Knowledge in hardware/firmware and information security for cloud and IoT devices. * Experience in development using script programming language, Python is preferred. #LI-NR1 #LI-Hybrid Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future. The approved base salary range for this position is $103,950 - $145,000. The actual base salary offered to a candidate may be higher than the approved range. This will vary depending on a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. This position is subject to Area Salary Differential (Cost of Living Adjustment) that ranges from 24.5%-30% of base salary for the San Francisco Bay area. The approved base salary range including ASD for this position is $135,135 - $188,500 depending on location.
