The Position Administrative Services Officers function as business managers for a large division or major program area or facility, with responsibility for accounting, budgeting and business management of various services and operations. The Division of Public and Behavioral Health, Fiscal Services is recruiting for an Administrative Services Officer 1 located in Carson City. Under the direction of the Administrative Services Officer III, the incumbent is responsible for fiscal review and oversight of budgets, including, but not limited to, budget preparation and execution, preparation of annual spending plans, federal and state reporting, reviewing and auditing documents, forecasting of revenues and expenditures, reviewing of sub-grants and contracts, and preparation of work programs. The incumbent acts as a liaison between the Division and Budget Office and/or Legislative Counsel Bureau staff as well as other state agencies; ensuring timely services and deadlines are met under severe time constraints.
