What you will do: The mid-level Environmental Scientist, Geologist, or Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases for a wide range of multidisciplinary environmental projects that include: * Remedial investigations. * Site characterizations. * Remedial design (RD) support under both state and federal programs. * Third party construction oversight. * Data collection. * Report preparation. What you will need: * B.S. degree in environmental science, environmental biology, environmental engineering or related discipline. * 3-5 years of experience in the environmental industry. * Experience with state and federal environmental regulations. * Environmental field sampling procedures, and protocols experience. * Excellent written and oral communication skills. * Familiarity with environmental and civil engineering practices related to site characterization and remediation. * Experience with analytical data evaluation, summary, management, and performing field activities including well installation and multi-media sampling. * Strong technical aptitude, including the ability to quickly and efficiently learn applications, systems, policies, and procedures. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Ability to work under variable conditions and be able to lift heavy objects (approximately 50 lbs.). * Current OSHA HAZWOPER certification preferred. * Valid New York Driver's License. * Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
