This role interacts with internal and external partners to see complex agreements through from start to finish as well as serves as a key figure in maintaining day-to-day relationships with strategic Fiber-to-the-Home business partners. The Senior Business Development Manager must be highly organized and motivated with the ability to effectively manage multiple relationships and projects. We're looking for an individual who is a self-starter, eager to contribute, and thrives at seeing a project through from start to finish. This is a hybrid position required to be working in-office at least 3 days a week. Responsibilities: * Structure and drive strategic partnerships and new business relationships including development of key economic, business, and operational terms; negotiate and execute contracts with these partnerships; and manage their evolution * Scout, identify and/or create new business opportunities and partnerships: a) identify and analyze complex market/business opportunities, b) evaluate key players and technologies, c) assess customer and market opportunities, d) develop differentiated product/service strategies, e) create potential economic/financial/business models, f) make T-Mobile recommendations, and g) develop business relationships to create new strategic partners. * Manage senior-level relationships with internal customers and with key players in the Fiber industry - both in established and emerging segments and ecosystems. * Develop deep domain expertise in sectors vital to T-Mobile's core strategy. * Provide strategic analysis and guidance (economic/financial, customer and market opportunities, key players and technologies, potential business models, T-Mobile fit, etc.) for of the Fiber-to-the-Home sector and domain. * Formulate recommendations and lead reviews of new opportunities, technologies, business models etc., to cross-functional teams * Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed. Skills: * Excel at reading and analyzing complex agreements. You can identify the key issues that impact business decisions and are equipped with superior contract skills including the ability to build, define requirements, and execute contract amendments as needed. * Structured thinker and negotiator. You can frame and bring structure to key contractual terms and see through an agreement from start to finish. * Savvy and organized. You are savvy and experienced at managing day-to-day business relationships, including having the ability to see growth objective through quickly while preserving long-term value. * Clear communicator. You can synthesize analysis into succinct, executive-ready written, visual and verbal communications fit for VP+ presentation. * Wow factor. You don't just put text on a slide - you are an expert at building a story out of the data and succinctly presenting complex problems. * Independent doer. You desire a high level of responsibility and can work with minimal supervision. You are comfortable working in a high-intensity environment. * Fearless "Un-carrier" spirit. You possess a relentless appetite to drive change and aren't bound by the "status quo". * Magenta team player. You have experience collaborating in teams and want to bring that experience to the cutting edge of wireless. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in a Business field (required); Master's/Advanced Degree in Business Administration (strongly preferred) * 7+ years of relevant work experience, with significant level of familiarity with the broadband industry, contract negotiations and managing partnerships. * Experience working on cross-functional projects. * Demonstrated experience and comfort working with complex, long-term partnerships. * Track record of demonstrating a high level of achievement. * At least 18 years of age * Legally authorized to work in the United States #LI-Corporate Base Pay Range: $120,500 - $217,400 Corporate Bonus Target: 20% The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
