As a Corporate Social Media Specialist, you will be a key player in crafting and sharing Avaya's brand story across the globe. We are seeking a creative and innovative thinker who can produce captivating content and engage with our online community. Your role will involve not only creating and managing content but also contributing to the strategic direction of our social media efforts. This position offers the opportunity to shape how we connect with our audiences and build lasting relationships. What you'll do: * Create compelling content: Develop engaging, thought-provoking content for Avaya's social media channels, including posts, graphics, and videos, that align with our brand voice and resonate with our audience. * Manage community interactions: Actively engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build positive relationships within our online communities. * Support strategic initiatives: Assist in the development and execution of the social media content calendar, ensuring alignment with broader marketing and corporate strategies. * Bring innovative ideas: Monitor social media trends, identify opportunities for engagement, and propose creative approaches to enhance our content and interactions. * Collaborate across teams: Work with marketing, communications, and other internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging and support campaign objectives. * Analyze performance: Use social media analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of content, generate insights, and recommend improvements. * Contribute to campaign success: Support the execution of social media campaigns and initiatives, helping to amplify Avaya's message and reach. How the position fits within the organization: You'll report into the Corporate Communications team, which includes global corporate communications, public relations, thought leadership and social media. Within our team, you will work closely with Avaya marketing teams such as Internal Communications, Sales and Partner Communications, Executive Communications, Public Relations and Influencer Relations, and our Solutions Marketing, Campaigns/Demand Gen and Events teams. About You What makes you a great fit? * Experience: 2-5 years in social media management, preferred organic and paid experience, with a proven track record of developing and executing innovative strategies. * Education: A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field -OR- related years of experience in a relevant industry. * Creative and innovative: Passion for storytelling and a talent for creating visually compelling content that captures attention. * Strong communicator: Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging messages for diverse audiences. * Technically savvy: Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram) and content creation tools. Basic understanding of SEO and social media advertising. * Analytical mindset: Ability to interpret data, analyze social media metrics, and apply insights to improve content strategies and engagement. * Proactive and adaptable: Eager to take initiative, propose new ideas, and adapt to changing circumstances. * Team-oriented: Collaborative spirit with strong interpersonal skills, comfortable working with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals. * Organized and detail-oriented: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards for quality. Compensation The pay range for this opportunity is from $76,700 to $103,600 + performance-related bonus + benefits This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and location.
