Your job is more than a job The Licensing Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, maintaining and/or filing LDH, OSFM, OPH and/or CMS required licensing documentation on behalf of the hospitals within LCMC Health. Works collaboratively with internal/external stakeholders to communicate current and relevant information and requirements. Executes the strategy set forth forth by the leadership to ensure that the system hospitals comply with all applicable licensing regulations. Anticipates any new or changing regulations and coordinates with stakeholders to develop strategies to address the same. Your Everyday Manages the day-to-day operations of LCMC Health licensing and permitting activities specifically as it relates to application development, review and approval workflow and license/permit issuance. Monitors, manages and tracks licensure renewals of existing facility licenses. Manages hospital licensure related to construction projects ensuring that the timelines are met, regulatory compliance is achieved and bed counts are accurate and up to date. Provides reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested, to keep senior management informed of the operation and progress of the projects. Acts as reviewer and evaluator to licensing and permitting processes for the hospitals in order to ensure that issues and concerns are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved. Develops and periodically reviews and updates standard operating procedures, inclusive of checklists and forms to obtain relevant information and implementation of processes to remain compliant with regulatory agencies as it relates to licensure. Participates in webinars/teleconferences/seminars to stay current on regulatory updates and compliance strategies. The Must-Haves Minimum: EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS 5 years of experience in compliance, regulatory or licensing field required. Healthcare licensing/accreditation experience preferred. EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma/GED or equivalent SKILLS AND ABILITIES Strong written and verbal communication and listening skills. Strong analytical skills. Strong project management skills. Ability to read and understand regulations and accreditation standards. Ability to work with varying levels of leadership. Ability to utilize data to develop dashboards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). WORK SHIFT: Days (United States of America) LCMC Health is a community.
