Job Title: Engineering Technician- Oil/Gas Job Description Support project execution by conducting chemical and petroleum lab scale experiments. Responsibilities include building up test equipment, compiling and reporting test data, generating mass balances with the engineer, collecting samples, and performing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. The role requires disassembling and reassembling equipment as modifications are made to the pilot plant and reading AutoCAD drawings. Will maintain, troubleshoot, and repairs instrumentation, mechanical and electrical equipment including, but is not limited to the process demonstration unit, pumps, and other auxiliary equipment. Assists in the safe start-up, operation, and shutdown of plant equipment from outside the control room.
