The report contains information on security policies as well as crime and fire statistics for the University. Serve as an Amelia A. Gould Undergraduate Research Assistant this academic year to support faculty projects in the Creative Arts. Faculty in the creative arts are all working professionals in their field who are publishing, performing, and exhibiting their work throughout the year. Students working on faculty projects will learn how professionals pursue their work and how both faculty and students comprise a creative campus community. This program is designed: 1. to offer students a mentoring intensive at a professional studio, museum or gallery exhibition, maker space, or working production and spend an extended period of time immersed in a creative project 2. onsite work will afford students insight into the culture of their chosen fields, allow them to develop sustained working habits and stamina, and learn new skills and methods 3. to involve more creative arts students in faculty mentored research and creative inquiry 4. to provide faculty members with research support and enhance opportunities for student-faculty collaboration on academic projects in the creative arts The Undergraduate Research Assistant will have a wide range of responsibilities depending on the faculty mentor they work with. Some of the job responsibilities include but not limit to: * Researching * Writing, animating, morphing, recording, and editing * Communication and outreach * Updating social media and website development * Coordinating trips and events * Creating images and animations sequences * Scanning 3D objects with Lidar Position qualifications included but not limited to: * Research, writing, and graphic arts skills * Knowledge of contemporary literature and writers * Administrative skills * Ability to create publicity materials and publicize and promote events on social media * Teamwork * Attention to details * Strong writing and communication skills * Critical thinking skills * Organized * Editing, photography, data entry, and poster design
