SHIPPING MANAAGER GENERAL SUMMARY: This position manages and coordinates activities of employees engaged in preparing, verifying and maintaining records on all shipments, and inventory control. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Operate within USDA/HACCP guidelines. * Promote a safe environment following state, federal and company safety standards. * Produce products that meet or exceed the customers' (internal and external) requirements and provide excellent customer service. * Provide positive people oriented work environment, designed to build morale. * Complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner. BASIC SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: * Must have supervision experience in shipping and inventory control. * Good interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills. * Computer skills are necessary with experience with Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook). * SAP experience a plus. * Must be able to demonstrate strong leadership and supervisory skills.
