Job: Adjunct Associate Professor: ECON BC3011: Inequality and Poverty Job Summary: The Economics Program/Department at Barnard College seeks a part-time instructor to teach ECON BC3011 Inequality and Poverty during the fall 2024 semester. Job Description: Candidate will be able to teach the conceptualization and measurement of inequality and poverty, poverty traps and distributional dynamics, economics and politics of public policies, in both poor and rich countries. Strong candidate already identified. Skills, Qualifications & Requirements: Preferred: PhD in Economics required. Course Salary: $12,500 The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the College's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Company: Barnard College Time Type: Part time
