Main purpose of position Currently we are looking for a Junior Project Developer (Wind)- in Karnataka, India to be part of our global team working together towards our vision - Improving our future. As our Junior Project Developer you will be responsible to support the land acquisition process for wind power projects in the state of Karnataka. Main responsibilities * Establish and maintain an effective relationship with landowners and local government authorities. * Work with line manager and external land aggregator to pursue site control. * Meet and negotiate with potential project landowners to acquire site control and to provide project information and support when needed. * Interaction with the landowners, land aggregator & legal consultant, etc. for acquisition of land for the projects. * Coordinate with WRA, EPC and Finance teams for acquiring locations. * Interaction with local revenue officials and other government authorities for smooth acquisition of project land. * Track land acquisition progress. * Report any issues that affect the project timelines to the line Qualifications and competencies * University degree * General knowledge of local and state government practices * Well-developed knowledge of local language, culture, customs and practices in the community * Have IT skills for operating Software and Apps * 8+ years in project development & land acquisition in the following areas are mandatory: Land acquisition Acts, land approval processes, legal DD, renewable project permits, coordination with local government authorities and local community Personal characteristics It is part of every employees' terms of reference to contribute to Scatec's vision: Improving our Future and adhere to our company values which are: * Predictable: demonstrate clear communication and listening skills, shares information in an open and honest way * Driving results: demonstrate determination, pro-activeness, can prioritise and work independently * Changemaker: demonstrate entrepreneurship, can challenge, fast learner, take initiates and adjust * Working together: demonstrate teamwork, shares responsibilities, can compromise, has a can-do attitude We offer Scatec is an exciting, innovative and ambitious company operating in a growing industry.
