Business Operations Manager Location: Warminster, PA Travel: 25% We're looking for someone who thrives on digging into data, possesses strong business acumen, and is driven by metrics. If you're ready to make a significant impact by optimizing operations and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you Job Objective: Drives branch performance to operational and financial goals through process innovation and efficiency. Responsible for ensuring daily operations adhere to RelaDyne processes and procedures: Branch ambassador for corporate and departmental initiatives, provides support and tactical implementation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Enforce adherence to RelaWay SOPs by ensuring all daily, weekly, and monthly branch processes being followed * Analyze branch trends to identify opportunities for improvement * Review and process GP Batch Reports, conduct exception investigation and corrective action where necessary, including communication between branch and central departments as needed * Daily review of key branch metrics in Branch Scorecard (KPIs) dashboards to monitor branch operational and financial performance, including taking corrective action steps where necessary * Maintain relations within branch departments, with other branches, and centralized departments ensuring all functions communicate effectively and the business is running efficiently * Branch champion for all continuous improvement programs, initiatives and support center projects, including a smooth integration into branch operations and ongoing effective execution of initiatives * In support of branch leadership, owns and manages conformance to Branch Scorecard (KPIs) at or above prior year and budget in the areas of labor & expense management, EBITDA, and FlowThru * Manage inventory adjustment, cycle counts, physical inventories, receiving, repackaging, transfers, bin locations, product conversions, and SLOB inventory, and other processes and procedures related to inventory management * Supports a productive team by actively participating in hiring, training, and providing professional development as needed * Provide auxiliary support with technical troubleshooting (ERP/Other), internal/external dispute resolution, and special requests (i.e., Customer Audit) as needed * Provide branch leadership with analytical support and input for each year's annual budget * Provide input and analysis for weekly forecasts * Consistent focus on sustaining a safety culture within branch locations * Promote an environment for problem-solving from a people, process, and systems perspective * Provide feedback on corporate initiatives related to branch-level relevance as requested * Perform regular visits to each warehouse within scope to obtain feedback and foster open communication * Supports change management by understanding location-specific nuances and ensuring buy-in toward identified operational initiatives * Aid with composing and/or reviewing branch CAPEX investment requests to emphasize liability mitigation and maximize earnings enhancement opportunities Other * Represent the company in a professional manner at all times ensuring quality customer service internally and externally * Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations, and procedures * Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company; and support Mission, Vision and Values, and Guiding Principles * Work overtime as needed * Ability to travel up to 25% of the time Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Interpersonal and customer service skills essential * Critical listening skills necessary * Capable of analyzing solutions * Able to handle stress as well as initiating and embracing change * Leadership & Coaching skills * Effective communication skills, both oral and written * Creative and innovative problem solver * Ability to work with and analyze numbers * Organizational skills * Microsoft Excel including data queries and pivot tables * General computer skills (Microsoft products, RelaDyne ERP, auxiliary software) Performance Measurements: * Branch Scorecard (KPIs) to goal * Facilitate adoption of corporate initiatives, and proper processes * Branch performance to financial metrics (i.e., Flow-through, Expense Management, Labor Utilization) Requirements: * Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role such as Business Operations Manager, Business Analyst, Business Systems Manager, Continuous Improvement Manager, or related positions.
