Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations - Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York. Purpose: Provide professional customer service and exceptional communication skills. Assumes responsibility for day-to-day operations of the Imaging Services Tracking System within the guidelines of the American College of Radiology and the FDA to ensure the department maintains full accreditation through timely abstracting of data, patient follow-up and patient care studies. Coordinates, analyzes, schedules and tracks patient medical data to determine appropriate continuation of care. Essential Responsibilities: 1. Maintains the Mammo tracking system, HQWM breast imaging work queue, and Cerner CCL reports for all VASC/FMM sites, following MQSA guidelines. 2. Schedules follow-up breast exams for all VASC/FMM/NDH/PHC patients following designed workflows of Cerner and HQWM tools for scheduling department. Daily printing and mailing of recall letters ensuring they are mailed out to patients as required. 3. Monitors Cerner RRD fax distribution queue ensuring all patient imaging reports are faxed or mailed as requested by referring providers, escalating any issues to EMPI or Cerner Radnet personnel for VBMC/VASC/FMM/COL. 4. Responsible for keeping all information in the DRA provider tools accurate and operational. 5. Maintains Clinical History audits for accuracy on reports in DRA Tools. 6. Edits Cerner patient access work lists for radiology accounts, incomplete scheduling data elements and insurance eligibility edits VBMC/VASC/Col/FMM/NDH/PHC/Perinatology. Troubleshoots issues in the Experian Ecare system for patient's insurance investigating information in Cerner as well as utilizing various websites to verify insurance eligibility. 7. Assist in overflow of calls in HIR providing assistance to patients and healthcare facilities in response to inquiries regarding the patient's medical records. Provides CDs to patients when requested at the time of service. 8. Maintains the Power scribe 360 templates for radiology for VBMC/VASC/FMM/NDH/PHC. Acts as Power scribe 360 editor corrections for radiologists as needed. . Participates in the development and implementation of the Radiology Imaging report templates. 9. Tracks pathology on a daily basis for each procedure done at VBMC/VASC/FMM/NDH/PHC and Sharon sites. 10. Maintain and Model REACH Values (Respect, Excellence, Accountability, Compassion, Honor). 11. Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance. 12. Performs other duties as required. Education and Experience Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent * Three (3+) or more years of medical office experience * Prior experience with physician scheduling and familiar with insurance company guidelines. * PREFER: One year of college or specialized post-high school training in medical terminology and medical office procedures Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements: * Ability to work efficiently in a high demand, team oriented and fast - paced environment. * Ability to handle diverse patients and utilize good listening skills when working under pressure. * Must possess strong attention to detail and time management skills to participate in multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
