Job Requirements * Able to communicate effectively with management team, guests and team members by speaking and comprehending English * English reading, writing, math, and computer skills required * Must be able to work extended shifts of 10 hours or more as business dictates * Must be flexible with schedule and able to work different shifts * Possible job hazards include, but are not limited to: slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts, and strains * Ability to conduct phone correspondence * Ability to remain seated for an extended time * Possesses extensive computer knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and more) * Ability to multitask * Must have time management skills to complete projects in a timely manner Major Areas of Responsibility All Performance standards are achieved through the use of the Core Signature Guidelines. Operations * Completes all projects in a timely and professional manner * Has strong attention to detail * Maintains accurate and efficient payroll files and data * Understands location and state/local specific pay rules * Provides operational support to ensure adequate products and equipment are ordered for anticipated business levels * Executes required daily reporting in a timely manner * Ensures consumption reports are accurate and timely for each event Controls * Creates BEO packets for all staff and supervisors * Beverage Consumption Report * Assignment Sheet * Floorplan/Diagram * Look ahead- Print out next day BEO's for set up or reset * Sanitation * Daily Line Check * Cleaning Schedule * Self-Inspection Sheet * Assign radios, as needed * Complete Menu Tags according to Levy Core Signature Standards * Coordinate Family Meal location and time * Coordinate Event Rentals and Returns * Track and maintain uniform inventory * Send all completed consumption sheets to sales by 10am the next day, save on share drive * Support with required department reports are completed and information is compiled at month end closing * Attend all BEO meetings * Supervise Catering Events as dictates by Business Needs * Completes projects and tasks as needed to support the Catering Department Mission: To achieve annual catering sales and profits, while working in partnership with operations to deliver "The Levy Difference." Results are achieved through analysis and implementation of objectives and living The Levy Difference. Major Areas of Responsibility: All major areas of responsibility are achieved through the Core Signature Guidelines. Job Summary Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Completes projects in a timely and professional manner * Provides professional clerical support including emailing, filing, copying and typing of letters/memos * Ensures that appropriate Catering materials are always available * Provides operational support to ensure adequate products and equipment are ordered for anticipated business levels * Creates punch lists on a daily for staff and copies of BEO's are readily available every morning for team members. * Manages multiple projects concurrently * Provides ready assistance to Catering management to ensure all catering services exceed guest expectations * Manages the distribution of inquiries efficiently * Takes initiative within all aspects of the position * Has strong attention to detail * Executes required daily reporting in a timelymanner * Ensures consumption reports are accurate and timely for each event * Coordinates menus, promotions and programs as outlined by the Director of Catering in accordance with Levy Restaurants standards * Ensures Menu Signage is created and available for all events. To include dietary restrictions. * Clear understanding of all the dietary restrictions and allergens. Controls: * Thoroughly and accurately uses applicable Levy systems (BOSS, Point-of-sale, WFM, eReserve and more) * Employs good safety and sanitation practices * Processes invoices on a timely basis * Follows and enforces responsible alcohol service policies * Assists in completion of required department reports in a timely manner * Ensures team members adhere to Levy Restaurants Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook * Promotes the sale of profitable Levy services Team: * Fosters strong relationships with Group Sales managers, Culinary and Operations teams. * Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale * Displays a positive attitude towards team members Job Requirements: * Able to communicate effectively with management team, guests and team members by speaking and comprehending English * English reading, writing, math and computer skills required * Ability to taste and evaluate food and beverage products * Stamina to work 60 hours or more per week * Must be able to work extended shifts of 10 hours or more as business dictates * Must be flexible with schedule and able to work different shifts * Possible job hazards include, but are not limited to; slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strains * Must be able to reach, lift, stoop, bend and perform extensive standing and walking (including stairs) throughout shift * Ability to use hands in using office equipment, including the computer system * Ability to talk and hear to conduct phone correspondence * Close vision and focus capabilities to view computer screen and company documents.
