SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES The Marketing Coordinator will support SouthState's Correspondent Division marketing team in the planning and execution of marketing strategies that drive pipeline and revenue. This person will work closely alongside the VP - Marketing Manager and SVP - Director of Sales and Marketing to assist in executing and tracking all marketing initiatives for the division. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly detailed, and a desire to learn both the fields of marketing and banking. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Support the planning and execution of B2B marketing campaigns, including but not limited to email marketing, direct mail marketing, webinars, LinkedIn (organic and paid), SEO, PPC, Google ads, website personalization, and display advertising. Create and maintain content calendars for LinkedIn social media, email marketing, and other digital marketing channels. Assist in the planning and execution of division-wide events. Support and assist with email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, email design, and content creation in conjunction with marketing team. Collaborate with graphic design to create engaging visuals for digital marketing campaigns and events. Assist with the maintenance of the company website, ensuring that it is up to date. COMPETENCIES Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field Experience: 1-3 years preferred Certifications/Specific Knowledge: Familiarity with CRMs, social media, and Wordpress is a plus TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES Required annual compliance training, New Employee Orientation PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports. This position requires a large amount of time in front of a computer. This can be done sitting or standing with use of the right desk. This position requires occasionally lifting boxes of marketing materials. This position requires the ability to drive a company vehicle to and from other locations. This position may require bending and reaching. WORK ENVIRONMENT Flexible work environment. Options include a cubicle or an open seating table area inside the "podcast room" at the Correspondent office in Atlanta. When working from home, must have a secure environment with internet connection and free of background noise. TRAVEL Travel may be required to come to meetings as needed.
