The Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to support Abbott's Medical Devices HQ Planning and Analysis activities in St. Paul, MN. The Medical Devices HQ Financial Planning and Analysis team provides timely and accurate consolidated forecasts, reporting packages, executive level presentation content and analytics to Medical Devices leadership and Corporate Finance. The team also supports, collaborates with and relays guidance to the HQ finance counterparts within each of the eight Medical Device business units and serves as a liaison between the Business Units, Medical Devices leadership and the Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team. What You'll Work On * Support the Medical Devices organization through consolidation, reporting and performing relevant analysis in the month-end and forecast cycles vs. all applicable benchmarks and street expectations. * Prepare the quarterly Confirmation review packages for Medical Devices Controller * Prepare consolidated financial and other content for executive meetings * Partner with the Medical Device Business Units to address follow-ups from Corporate and fine-tune presentation content for Medical Device presentations for Board of Directors Meetings * Leverage PowerBI to update a weekly procedure report for leadership * Assist with ad hoc financial requests from leadership * Identify areas that can be improved and constructively propose new solutions that drive efficiencies Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance and accounting, or related field * 0-4 years of finance or accounting experience * High attention to detail and accuracy * High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and ability to learn / leverage digital tools * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written * Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment, successfully prioritizing deliverables, meeting deadlines and fulfilling leadership requests without sacrificing quality * Ability to leverage slower periods to proactively get ahead and manage busier periods more effectively Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Essbase and Hyperion Financial Planning System (HFM) * Prior work experience in the Medical Devices industry * Prior experience in a Corporate or a Headquarters function Apply Now * Participants who complete a short wellness assessment qualify for FREE coverage in our HIP PPO medical plan. The base pay for this position is $48,000.00 - $96,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
