Primary responsibility is to provide water safety instruction to the Brooklyn Center Community Center pool patrons.Examples of Duties:Teach skills in accordance with the American Red Cross and the Brooklyn Center Aquatics Program standards.Promote, teach and ensures the safety of all class participantsCompletion of all progress reports, cards and Red Cross forms before the last class.Enforce and follow all facility policies, rules and regulations.Maintain current lesson plans.Remain current in all certifications.Performs other duties as assigned or apparentMinimum QualificationsMust be at least 15 years oldGeneral knowledge of all swimming strokes.
