Reports to: Mortgage Pipeline and Hedging Manager Direct Reports: N/A FLSA: Non-Exempt Salary Grade: 7 SUMMARY Join our dynamic Mortgage team as a Mortgage Secondary Market Analyst. This position is responsible for providing broad based operational, accounting, and reporting support to the United Community Mortgage Services Division by coordinating the processes for secondary market operations and executing and monitoring all lock desk and loan pricing activities in a timely and accurate manner. JOB FUNCTIONS * Assist the Hedging Manager in monitoring Best Efforts and Mandatory pipelines, including administering investor commitments and making critical changes as necessary to achieve recognized pricing and margin targets. Monitor rate lock expirations with internal staff as well as various private investors. * Assist in the delivery of loan sales including packaging notes for physical submission, submitting, delivering, and following up on loan packages * Maintain the flow of data from the origination system to government agency selling systems and work with operations to ensure high data quality through clearing of all data edits * Assist in the functions of the lock desk with regards to emails/rate lock requests and rate lock extensions * Maintain working knowledge of capital market influences on mortgage rates and assist in trade confirmations * Enter all purchase advice information pertaining to mortgage loan sales activity on a daily basis * Assist in the development of rate sheet models and pricing of loan scenarios MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * One year of experience in mortgage and/or secondary market experience. * Experience working in a fast-paced team environment. * Proven ability to effectively handle high-pressure scenarios to ensure smooth operations * Strong problem solving skills and the ability to think clearly during critical moments * Strong interpersonal-communication and business-relationship skills. * Detail oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills. * Technologically proficient in MS Excel software.
