POSITION SUMMARY: AMETEK is looking for an inclusive, proactive, collaborative and results-oriented Talent Acquisition Manager to join the Aerospace and Defense team. This critical position will partner with the human resources business partners and business unit management teams to deliver high-caliber talent for existing openings and bench strength pipeline development. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, ambitious individual who views human capital as the organization's most critical asset. Utilize a metrics-driven approach to deliver a talent pipeline from a variety of recruiting sources (social media, traditional job boards, career fairs, college programs) while promoting AMETEK's brand as an employer of choice. This position will have flexibility to work from home or in the Wilmington, MA office. This position reports directly to the Division Vice President, Human Resources for the Aerospace and Defense Division. * Champion recruiting and leverage the power of LinkedIn. Drive a reduction in recruiting spend, identifying and contributing qualified candidates to the business * Engage with business leaders and HR colleagues using a collaborative and consultative approach that builds credibility while establishing trust at all levels of the organization to create win/win solutions * Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives to ensure a diverse candidate slate for all open roles * Lead full cycle recruitment processes for assigned positions, leveraging internal and external channels for active openings and pipeline development * Builds strategic partnerships with HR community and managers while simultaneously holding managers accountable for timely recruiting processes * Regularly assess the pulse of recruitment campaigns, pivoting approach as necessary to attract top talent * Analyze trends and develop metrics with a focus on continuous improvement and best practice adoption * Act as talent acquisition Subject Matter Expert, providing ongoing coaching and training to HR community and management team(s) across the division * Develop and provide weekly key staffing metrics * Proactively engage the market to understand the competitive landscape, developing new strategies to promote our company brand and sourcing methodologies * Organize and/or attend career fairs, college recruiting programs, diversity/inclusion engagements or other events * Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local employment and labor laws * Proactively communicate with leadership and peers to get a clear view of division's hiring needs and organizational goals REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION * Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in talent acquisition, including high-volume indirect professional and direct labor hires * Experience working in a manufacturing environment * 5+ years' experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (SuccessFactors preferred) * Bachelor's degree required, Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration preferred * Technical proficiency in HR processes * Business acumen - includes value added perspective, financial awareness and cost control, diverse business experience * Competencies include proactiveness, decisiveness, self-confident, self-motivated, results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment * Willingness to roll up his/her sleeves and remain flexible to often shifting priorities * Able to lead, energize, and influence a wide spectrum of people, with a hands-on, roll-up-the-sleeves mentality and a structured and pragmatic approach * An effective collaborator and relationship builder * Ability and willingness to travel for job fairs, college recruitment, diversity engagements or other activities required (5%) Compensation Salary Minimum: Market Salary Maximum: Market Incentive: Yes Disclaimer: Where a specific pay range is noted, it is a good faith estimate at the time of this posting.
