*Front Desk Coordinator - Center for Dermatology & Plastic Surgery (CDPS)*

Founded in 2000 by Gary McCracken MD, the Center began as a Dermatology-only healthcare group delivering quality care to Valley residents. In that time, CDPS has grown to 8 locations and employs 23 Physicians and healthcare professionals specializing in Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Mohs Skin Cancer Surgery, and Vein Surgery.

The ideal *Front Desk Coordinator* views themselves as a _*“Director of First Impressions”*_. The successful candidate is friendly, professional, and has a natural talent to always put our patients first, delivering unparalleled customer service in a thriving fast-paced clinic.
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Responsible for accurately and professionally handling front desk operations including answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling all appointments, addressing routine inquiries, and forwarding non-routine requests to appropriate personnel.
* Prepares necessary patient paperwork before the patient’s appointment.
* Review EMA for information that needs to be updated. Works with patients to obtain updated information and accurately enters information in EMA.
* Identifies payer sources, verifies insurance eligibility, and verifies prior authorization.
* Recording and collecting patient copays and/or balances at check -in/out.
*Qualifications:*
* Must have 1-2 years of experience working in a medical clinic.
* Dermatology experience is a plus.
* Strong customer service skills
* General understanding of HIPAA guidelines
* Exceptional multi-tasker
* Excellent phone skills
* Energetic, positive, and friendly
* Organized and meticulous
* Experience working with EMR systems.
*Education:*
* High School Diploma required.
