Volt is immediately hiring for Field Safety Coordinator in Van Nuys, CA.



As a Field Safety Coordinator you will:

• Conduct safety audits and field inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and internal policies.
• Implement and train employees on safety policies and procedures.
• Assess and mitigate safety risks with management and field teams.
• Develop strategies to minimize workplace injuries.
• Facilitate safety training programs on injury prevention and DOT compliance.
• Investigate accidents to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures.
• Maintain comprehensive safety records.
• Monitor industry regulations to ensure compliance.
• Assist in developing and executing emergency response plans.
• Promote a culture of safety and communicate safety expectations.
• Lead kickoff meetings to establish safety goals and identify hazards.
• Travel to job sites for inspections, training, and compliance checks.
• Participate in safety committee meetings to discuss performance and strategies.
• Support additional safety initiatives as needed.

This is a Ful-time Direct Hire opportunity.



The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a safety-focused role, particularly in field operations.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, safety management systems, and DOT compliance.
• Relevant certifications (OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR, DOT compliance training) preferred.
• Proven experience in injury prevention and safety management.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Salary: $30-$35/hr





*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
