Job Description KIPP TX is seeking a strategic and skilled executive recruiter to attract, cultivate and select industry leading executives passionate about advancing KIPP TX's mission. In partnership with senior management, the executive recruiter will identify hiring demands, develop and implement a best-in-class executive recruitment strategy, and lead end-to-end executive searches. The executive recruiter will maintain a robust network to build a diverse pipeline of systems-level leaders to fill current and future staffing needs. A successful executive recruiter is an expert and resourceful recruiter, skilled at interrupting inequitable recruitment and hiring practices, developing a vast national network of industry executives, and maintaining excellent client relations. As the Executive Recruiter you will be accountable to sourcing high-quality candidates, closing open roles within specified timeframes, maintaining an exceptional client and candidate experience, and facilitating DEIB practices within executive recruitment and hiring at KIPP TX. Develop a diverse and inclusive network of talented systems-level leaders ready to champion KIPP TX's work * Partner with organizational leaders to get a clear view of strategic and operational goals and projected hiring needs * Collaborate within the talent department to develop and implement mechanisms to support executive talent mapping, succession planning, and hiring projections across KIPP TX to ensure a robust, diverse internal pipeline of management and senior leaders * Serve as a brand ambassador for KIPP TX, representing the organization at industry convenings and events * Develop and maintain a diverse national network of internal and external education executive champions * Maintain a database of industry contacts Lead best-in-class executive recruitment searches for KIPP TX * Collaborate with Talent department leadership and Team Texas to codify KIPP TX's approach to attracting, recruiting, and selecting executives * Conduct marketplace research and stay abreast of cutting edge industry, market, and competitor trends. * Provide recommendations on KIPP TX's employer value proposition, including compensation, to make KIPP TX an attractive option for executives. * Design and execute inclusive recruitment strategies and campaigns aligned to the KIPP TX brand * Map role criteria and define candidate profiles and personas * Design equitable hiring processes that meet client needs and assess candidate qualifications and portfolios for open positions while mitigating structural bias impact on hiring decisions * Advertise open positions on major job sites and via social media platforms * Source prospective candidates using a variety of recruitment methods * Screen candidates for role qualifications, record of results, and organizational core values match * Prepare and present candidate summaries for hiring managers and selection committees * Steward executive candidates through a confidential and personalized selection process * Conduct thorough background and reference checks on candidates * Guide selection committees through hiring decision making, including facilitating conversations to surface and mitigate biases * Provide exceptional client support services ensuring client satisfaction with selection process design, top-quality candidates, and personalized experience * Share guidance and support the facilitation of offer negotiation process to ensure alignment with KIPP TX's compensation strategy * Partner with talent management, HR, and hiring manager to assist with the candidate's transition and onboarding process * Develop and execute a strategy to deepen talent acquisition acumen of KIPP TX people managers * Track and report on metrics relevant to executive hiring success Serve as an active member of Talent Recruitment Team and Family * Participate in Talent Recruitment special projects and initiatives as needed * Foster a culture of collaboration through active participation in manager, team, department, and organizational meetings * Engage in learning and continuous improvement through co-creating a personalized learning plan and participating in development experiences to improve your practice in equity-based recruitment and leadership Performs any other duties as assigned. Responsibilities and tasks outlined in this document are not exhaustive and may change as determined by the needs of the network Qualifications * Bachelor's degree required * Minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience serving an organization or clients in education or a high-stakes service industry * Minimum of 3 years recruiting for senior manager and/or executive positions * Demonstrated record of results with placement of senior management and/or executives Additional Information Skills * Exceptional networking, negotiation, and relationship building skills * Strong communication skills, ability to influence others to action * Skilled at identifying and acting to dismantle systems of oppression related to executive recruitment * Results-oriented and track record of driving excellence in talent recruitment * Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to leverage talent analytics, prioritize competing demands, align key stakeholders, and solve complex problems * Skilled at backwards mapping recruitment strategies and campaigns and quickly adapting to changing needs in the hiring landscape What We Bring to the Table * The starting point for the salary range for this position is $75,000 and is commensurate upon experience and internal-equity * Competitive vacation and flexible paid time off (PTO) policies * Paid family leave * Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans with varying coverage for employees and their families, inclusive of virtual physician visits.
