Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Risk Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring margin and option accounts, anticipating market shifts that may pose risks, and proactively enhancing monitoring systems. This role requires a deep understanding of market interconnections, firm operations, and underlying accounts. Key Responsibilities: * Monitor margin and option accounts to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk management standards. * Anticipate and assess market shifts to identify potential risks in margin and option accounts. * Develop and implement proactive measures to mitigate identified risks. * Collaborate with IT and other departments to enhance monitoring systems and tools. * Analyze account data to identify trends and areas for improvement. * Provide regular reports on account statuses, risks, and mitigation strategies. * Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in margin and option account management. * Assist in designing and refining systems for monitoring margin and option accounts. * Work closely with other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to risk management and account oversight. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. * Proven experience in credit lending, margin oversight, and options trading. * Strong understanding of financial markets, risk management, and regulatory requirements. * Experience in designing or contributing to the design of monitoring systems. * Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication and collaboration skills. * Proactive attitude with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues. Preferred Qualifications: * Advanced degree in a related field. * Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or similar. * Experience with specific monitoring software and tools. * Familiarity with the latest technological advancements in financial risk management.
