About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer that will help lead development for enterprise commercial customer onboarding application and provide application design guidance and consultation while using a thorough understanding of applicable technologies such as Java, Sprint Boot, RESTful and Mongo DB. The ideal candidate should possess: * Deep knowledge and expertise in Java language and related technologies. * Proficient skills in writing efficient, scalable, and maintainable Java code. * Good experience working with the RHPAM tool. * An adept understanding of the RHPAM tool to include automation, optimizing and managing business processes effectively using the RHPAM platform. * Understanding of CQRS patterns. * Skills to support the AXON framework for event management. * The ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement effective fixes for applications. * Proficient skills using version control systems like GIT * Experience with collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, and others to manage codebase changes and coordinate with teams. * Knowledgeable about Java security best practices and understand how to implement secure coding principles to protect application from vulnerabilities and attacks. * Deep understanding and experience with continuous integration and deployment pipeline using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and others In this role, you will: * Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments * Contribute to large scale planning of strategies * Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments * Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures * Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients' needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements * Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals * Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff Required Qualifications: * 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education * 4+ years of experience in integrating the applications with various databases such as Mongo DB and Oracle * 3 + years of experience with Java framework to include experience with Spring, Spring Data, Spring Boot, or Spring Cloud * 3+ years of experience with RESTful or SOAP web services * 3+ years of experience deploying applications to various cloud hosting platforms such as AWS, Azure or PCF Desired Qualifications: * 3+ years of financial services experience * BS/BA degree or higher * Experience with building and maintaining customer onboarding applications * Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Job Expectations: * Ability to work additional hours as needed. * This is not a remote position. Pay Range Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
