The Resort Ambassador acts as a liaison between the guests and the resort, providing exceptional hospitality, resolving concerns, and ensuring guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience throughout their visit. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsible for welcoming guests on property, and educating them about available services, promotional opportunities, and special events. * Provide engaging, entertaining, and inspiring guest service. * Facilitates seamless communication between guests and Executive Casino Hosts, addressing inquiries, facilitating reservations, assisting with player development efforts & events, and providing prompt assistance. Assist with Marketing events and promotions, Players Club, and VIP Services Lounge as needed. * Motivates new guests to join the Players Club and cultivates relationships with current members on the gaming floor. * Expert in all aspects of casino services such as promotions, events, property amenities & hours of operation. * Ensures accuracy of gaming patron data when accessing account information. * Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner. * Offer personalized recommendations and assistance to enhance guests' experience. * Actively identifies, acknowledges, diagnoses, and resolves guest concerns following service recovery protocols. * Collaborates with other departments to evaluate guest needs and resolve issues effectively. * Serves as a representative of the casino while participating in off-property functions such as charitable events, conventions & trade shows. * Other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE: Required * High school diploma or GED. * 1 year in gaming operations, outside sales, telemarketing, service/hospitality or equivalent combination of education and related experience. * Must be 21 years of age. * Must be able to effectively demonstrate the ability to sell current promotions and events. * Excellent guest service skills as well as interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for serving others and ensuring each guest feels valued. * Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team. * Excellent organization and communications skills both written and verbal. * Must meet professional appearance guidelines as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook. * A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment. * Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include various shifts, weekends, and holidays. PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: * Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations * Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, twist and grip items when necessary * Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guest demands in a fast paced environment * Respond to visual and aural cues * Have the ability to read, write, speak and understand English, bi-lingual a plus * Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including a 10 key adding machine, personal computer, fax machine, and photo copier * Able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke * Operate in mentally stressful situations * Must be able to meet the level two or light work requirements based on the Department of Labor Dictionary of Titles: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently Indian Preference Exercised Prairie Band Casino & Resort reserves the right to make changes to the above job descriptions whenever necessary.
