As a Process Technician, you will be responsible for maximising daily workload and keeping machines running efficiently and productively by monitoring the productivity rate and reject rate. *CNC/metal experience is NOT relevant to this position* SIGN-ON BONUS! - We offer a $2,000.00 Hiring Bonus! As a Process Technician you will: * Remove and install plastic injection molds according to production requirements * Maintain records to ensure high-quality production * Follow SOPs, Processes, and training instructions in starting and cycling press * Participate in identifying safety and production improvements * Perform jobs assigned by production supervisor/management * Assist in the sampling of jobs and perform first piece inspection * Assist Floor Personnel (when needed) * Attend all training sessions * Perform in-process attribute/functional gauging (where required) * Perform in-process SPC monitoring and reporting * Keep accurate records of machine downtime when required * Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment * *CNC/metal experience is NOT relevant to this position* What we are looking for: Required: * Experience in plastics * Must have good time management skills * Must be able to work with limited supervision * Well-motivated, self-starter * Mechanical aptitude * High school diploma or equivalent Preferred: * Experience with crane or lift operations * 1 year experience in plastic injection molding setup, or has had training in processing or equivalent is preferred Headquartered in the United Kingdom, Essentra's global network extends to 28 countries worldwide and includes over 3,000 employees, 14 manufacturing facilities, 24 distribution centers and 33 sales & service centers serving c.69,000 customers with a rapid supply of low cost but essential products for a variety of applications in industries such as equipment manufacturing, automotive, fabrication, electronics, medical and renewable energy.
