Responsible to the principal for such details as are required in conducting the athletic program of the school and for such reports, inventories, and information requested by the principal. 2. Responsible for all policies as set forth by the Board of Education, Superintendent, and Principal. 3. Responsible for submitting a financial report and the end of each month and yearly report. 4. Responsible for developing and administering the athletic program budget in cooperating with the principal. 5. Responsible for control and purchasing of all athletic equipment and supplies. 6. Prepare all purchase orders for the athletic accounts and maintain that file. 7. Prepare and file deposit slips with financial secretary of school in accordance with WVBE Policy 8200. 8. Prepare and file all receipts with financial secretary of school in accordance with WVBE Policy 8200. 9. Responsible for scheduling all athletic events. 10. See that all eligibility reports and safety plans are made according to SSAC requirements and are sent to the proper schools. 11. Study all rules and regulations of the SSAC. 12. Responsible for all transportation and other items that may present themselves. 13. Attend all games, meets, matches, or meetings pursuant to the athletic program or appoint a representative t act in his place. 14. Represent the school at Booster Club meetings. 15. Responsible for administration and organization for all home athletic contests including: A. Tickets, sellers, takers, guards B. Police protection C. Officials D. Maintenance (field and gym preparation) E. Extra Workers (ex: chain crew, statistics book, clock workers, announcers, scorekeeper, timer, etc.) F. Dressing room facilities G. Authorizes all expenditures for contests including the guarantee. H. Issue complimentary passes for visiting team coaches, and necessary game personnel I. Secure appropriate medical services. J. Provide concession stand operation K. Deposit all gate receipts the night of the game 16. Act as an advisor to the coaching staff and stimulate cooperation between coaches, teachers, and administrators concerning the policies of the athletic department. 17. Responsible for administering the insurance program covering school athletics. 18. Keep the principal informed of athletic activities. 19. Responsible for all public relations and advertisement of athletic events. 20. Responsible for gathering doctor and parental consent forms in accordance with SSAC regulation. 21. Make all contracts for game officials and see that they are sent to proper schools. 22. Keep all contracts on file. 23. Check all award winners and see that they meet the requirements and provide such letters. 24. Perform other duties relative to athletics as assigned by the principal. 25. Help in developing a rapport with the middle school. 26. Act as an advisor and guidance to the middle school relating to the development of our athletic program. 27. Responsible to the middle school scheduling, game maintenance, and rule interpretations as set forth by the SSAC.
