Advising and Mentorship: * Provide academic advising and mentorship to students pursuing degrees and certificates in broadcast media technology. * Support students in their academic and career goals, offering guidance and resources as needed. Professional Development: * Stay current with advancements in broadcast media technology and related fields through continuous professional development activities, including attending workshops, conferences, and training sessions. * Engage in scholarly activities, such as research, publications, or creative projects related to broadcast media technology. College and Community Engagement: * Actively participate in departmental and college-wide meetings, committees, and events. * Collaborate with community organizations, industry partners, and other educational institutions to enhance students' opportunities for internships, networking, and real-world experiences. Service to the College: * Contribute to the college community through committee work, program assessment, and other service activities. * Support the college's mission and initiatives, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students. Requirements: Qualifications: * Master's degree or higher in Broadcast Media, Broadcasting, Journalism, Communication, or a related field from an accredited institution. * Demonstrated expertise and professional experience in broadcast media technology, including knowledge of industry-standard equipment, software, and production techniques. * Teaching experience in higher education and a strong commitment to student success. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively in a diverse and multicultural environment.
