Your role at Baxter: Baxter Healthcare Corporation is seeking an Engineering Manager with a proven track record of effectively handling and motivating a team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing company-wide Global Engineering Standards, ensuring compliance with Global Quality procedures, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. What you'll be doing: * Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide Global Engineering Standards for all engineering projects and activities. * Collaborate with Global Quality to review and update GQPs related to facility engineering, cascade training, and other relevant topics. * Coordinate and lead the company's Community of Practices (CoP) meetings, fostering collaboration and teamwork among engineering professionals. * Provide training and support to ensure that all engineering professionals are fully aware of and aligned with Global Engineering Standards and GQPs. * Serve as an authority on pharmaceutical regulatory requirements, ASME, ISPE, and Federal laws, offering mentorship and guidance to engineering professionals. * Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality Assurance and Validation, to ensure alignment of engineering standards and procedures with company goals and objectives. * Develop and implement a global plan to introduce engineering standards, ensuring adherence across all regions and sites. * Supervise and assess the efficiency of the Global Engineering Standards, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure engineering standards and procedures are in line with company policies, goals, and objectives. What you'll bring: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical or Chemical / Life Sciences, or a related field. * Proven record in engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field within the pharmaceutical industry. * In-depth knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations and facility design aspects. * Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing engineering standards and procedures. * Strong leadership and management skills, with a track record of leading multi-functional teams. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to promote collaboration and partnership among team with varied strengths members. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and improve processes. * Experience with global engineering standards and practices, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. * Solid understanding of quality systems and compliance requirements. * Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and other relevant project management software. * Familiarity with Federal Laws (21CFR), EPA, ISPE, ASME.
