As a Teacher, you will provide exceptional care and education for children and their families. You will be responsible for implementing our comprehensive educational program in your assigned classroom, while supervising and guiding Instructional Assistants and Associate Teachers. We would love to hear from someone who: * Teacher I : * Has an AA/AS * Has 24 units of Early Childhood Education/Child Development * Has 6 months related teaching experience * RCCP, Child Development Teacher Permit or higher. * Teacher II * BA/BS * 12 units of Early Childhood Education/Child Development * 1 year related teaching experience * Child Development Teacher Permit or higher. * Has Valid California Driver's License and auto insurance * Has Childrens Center Permit or qualify for an appropriate Childrens Center Permit prior to beginning employment and apply within 60 days of commencing employment. Program administrative staff will check the website annually to ensure all program staff are cleared to work. * Must meet the Head Start Performance Standards and State requirements. * Employment in Head Start, Early Head Start and Migrant and Seasonal Head Start Programs is contingent upon approval of the Policy Council.
