Residential Assistant (RA) Responsibilities * Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine residents' needs. * Assists residents with specific needs involving their activities of daily living. * Assists residents with laundry. * Oversees residents' meal preparation in their rooms. * Assists residents with self-administration of medications. * Changes bed linens, runs errands, directs visitors, and answers the telephone. * Maintains physical environment in a clean, safe, and pleasant manner. * Performs other related activities as assigned or requested. Residential Assistant (RA) Requirements * High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
