Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Loyola University & Medical Center in Chicago has an exciting opportunity for a Psychiatric Liaison - Inpatient Psychiatry. The Behavioral Health team is seeking future colleagues with a passion to provide advanced behavioral health knowledge and skills including direct and indirect assessment and care to patients and families, crisis intervention, support group facilitation, behavioral health education and problem solving in all clinical care areas. The Behavioral Health team is seeking a LPC/LSW/LCPC/LCSW - Inpatient. This future colleague should have the passion to provide advanced behavioral health knowledge and skills including direct and indirect assessment and care to patients and families, crisis intervention, support group facilitation, behavioral health education and problem solving in all clinical care areas. What you'll do: Inpatient Psychiatry - Completes Level of Care (psychosocial assessment) and participates in the development of the individual treatment plan on all inpatients. Regularly consults with attending psychiatrists regarding patients' condition throughout treatment. Participates in weekly clinical staffing with the treatment team. Coordinates discharge planning in conjunction with the treating psychiatrist. Focuses on psychosocial needs of the patient including comprehensive aftercare plans and housing when indicated. Conducts family sessions whenever feasible. Facilitates legal process and documentation for involuntary admissions and medication petitions.
