Position Overview The Global Head of Logistics & Distribution, IT will be partnering with the Ralph Lauren Transformational Project Program leadership and other IT teams on the program implementation, providing vision & leadership to the function along with support and maintenance of existing platforms used across the regions. The role will ensure successful delivery of the global transformational project through collaborating with the leadership to finalize the roadmap and plan the design, implementation and rollout aligning globally. Imperative to the success of the project will be the ability to work cross functionally in a global, fast paced environment with a variety of internal teams & external vendors. Additional accountabilities include: all project management activities, managing a project team consisting of internal & external resources, vendor & budget management ensuring successful delivery in a cost-effective way. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Partner with Ralph Lauren Transformational project leadership partners to align on a roadmap to implement ERP globally and work with global logistics & Transportation team to identify, manage and support the necessary changes in the existing platforms and support the new ERP process. * Partner with Logistics Transformational Project leadership to align on the roadmap and manage the cross-functional resource team including other IT teams, business & consulting partners along with solution partners to implement the program. * Responsible for developing and executing RL global logistics and transportation IT strategy partnering with the business leadership, always looking for areas for improvement and opportunities. * Communicate regularly with Steering Committee, project team members, and representatives from various functional and/or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration for the ongoing projects. * Independently and collaboratively lead workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes. * Champion customer focused continuous improvement objectives and transition plans for solution support * Manage business relationships by driving alignment in goals, strategy, priorities, and results. * Manage vendor relationship with software and service providers. * Maintain and use contacts throughout the organization, industry, and other professional organizations to maintain and improve the logistics & transportation solutions.
