The company provides full-service security solutions for homes and businesses including security officer services, smart home automation, burglar and fire alarms, access control, security cameras, alarm monitoring, investigative services and background checks. Job Skills / Requirements The primary responsibility of this position is to manage all operational activities involved with providing contract physical security services to clients. Under the leadership of the General Manager and Operations Manager, the Assistant OM will be provided with greater responsibilities as he/she develops in this role. Schedule: M-F (8am-5pm) $26/Hr. In this role, you will: * Provide extensive support to branch recruitment needs for Standard and Special hiring Events (further details will be provided to qualified candidates) * Assist management with basic employee relations day-to-day issues * Manage Personnel Files of branch employees. * Complete Change of Status Forms (COS). * Import new hires into WinTeam from Kwantek. * Assist management and employees with FMLA qualifying events. * Assist management and employees with Workers Compensation. * Work with Corporate Training and Development Manager to track training requirements. * Assist Corporate HR with annual benefits enrollment. * Assist Corporate HR with the annual Performance Evaluations process. * Act as payroll backup to branch staff as needed * Assist in the administration of drug and alcohol policies and tests. * Assist Corporate HR in responding to legal inquiries requesting company files and information. * Communicate corporate changes and updates to branch employees. * Maintain a positive work atmosphere by interacting with the Per Mar Security Services internal/external customers (including, but not limited to: current customers, prospective customers, clients, vendors, co-workers, supervisors and management) in a mutually respectful manner regardless of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation and all other protected classes. * Adhere to the highest standards of ethical business conduct and compliance by acting lawfully, ethically, honestly and professionally in the performance of their jobs at all times as well as be in compliance with company policy and procedures as it relates to their job function. What you'll need: * Experience with FCC cards and training is preferred. * High School Diploma or GED. * An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree is preferred. * 2-4 years of Human Resources experience in the area of Employment Coordination is strongly preferred. * Previous Security Industry experience preferred. * Basic working knowledge of Employment Law is preferred * Must have the ability to obtain Security Officer License as required by state laws. * Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. #CHIW Education Requirements (Any) Associate's Degree preferred but not required High School Diploma/GED Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required Additional Information / Benefits Benefits: Medical Insurance, Life Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Paid Sick Days, 401K/403b Plan Screening Requirements: Drug Screen, Criminal Background Check
