LUCID ASSISTANT VIDEO EDITOR POSITION EXPERIENCE 2-3 years of experience in a post-produc4on environment is preferred. EDUCATION A Bachelor's degree or an associate's degree preferred. Job: Our assistant editor should have great communica4on skills and would work closely with the editor(s) and producer(s) of a par4cular job. Our assistant editor should be familiar with Adobe Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve and compression soIware like Media Encoder. Knowledge of audio edi4ng soIware and other soIware from the Adobe Crea4ve Cloud is a plus (such as AIerEffects, Audi4on, Photoshop). Our assistant editor helps organize and manage video assets on our media server. And our assistant provides general support for the en4re Brand team with regards to video assets. Currently our assistant editor supports 2 editors with the possibility of assis4ng more for big projects or events. ASSISTANT EDITOR DUTIES FOOTAGE & PROJECTS * Ingest and organize footage as soon as it's made available. * Make stringouts of new footage for writers and crea4ve directors (and selects if there's 4me). * Create project job jackets for edits once a project assigned and a job # provided. * Create & Manage Frame.io project folders. * Manage and organize footage and other video assets on our media server for quick access. * Assist editors, crea4ve directors, and partners oversees with requests for footage and other video assets. OFFLINE EDIT * Assist editors with edits including but not limited to, music searches, stock footage searches, sound design, making selects (including some light cuUng and footage assembly). * Help with finding footage on our media server. VFX Prepare shots for clean-up or beauty when necessary (oversee the roundtrip). MIX & COLOR Prepare projects for audio mix and/or color grading when necessary (oversee the roundtrip) Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
