Responsibilities Peraton is seeking an ambitious Business Development Director with demonstrated success qualifying new business opportunities or program management within the Federal Cybersecurity marketspace. As a key member in our Cyber Mission Sector, you will provide leadership, critical thought, and a strategic mindset to winning business opportunities. You will partner with strategy, capture teams, program management teams, and functional leadership to develop account growth vectors, customer engagements, win strategies, solutions, and proposals. Success in this role is ultimately measured by meeting and exceeding acquisition and financial targets aligned to company goals. Responsibilities: * Serve as a Federal Cybersecurity Business Development Executive focused on achieving new business sales goals * Embrace the Peraton Business Acquisition Process in daily activities, and effectively manage and communicate all the opportunities and plans for management and technical teams * Partner with Business Unit Leaders to identify and target new business markets, adjacencies, and partnerships which aligns with strategic Vulnerability and Attack Surface Reduction growth plans * Develop and maintain an active strategic growth plan, and the associated pipeline, in alignment and consistent with corporate campaign strategy and goals * Build and mature key customer relationships within the customer's organizations. * Primary interface with customer community for assigned opportunities and customers * Travel as required, as dictated by business need Qualifications Required * Bachelor's degree and 16+ years of professional Cybersecurity Intelligence or Vulnerability Management experience * Deep understanding of Federal Cybersecurity customer missions and strategy across their entire enterprise and ability to integrate Vulnerability Principles into an operational landscape * Knowledge of SBOM, CVEs, CVSS, ICS/OT, and MITRE ATT&CK Framework * Highly effective communicator to all levels within the company and with clients * Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility Desired * Existing relationship with Federal Cybersecurity customers. * Ability to identify, derive, and report on quality outcome-driven metrics Peraton Overview Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Target Salary Range $176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
